What is this calculator?

This combined calculator lets you design an isolated pad footing along with its starter column in a single pass. It accurately calculates the anchorage length (L-bends) of the column reinforcement resting on the footing mesh.

Engineering Details

Anchorage: The column's longitudinal bars are calculated to extend down to the footing mesh and bend 90 degrees outward. Total concrete is the sum of the rectangular footing and the column prism.

Vol = (L×W×h_footing) + (cW×cD×h_column)
